Psychology Of Space

Psychology of Space is an interdisciplinary performance project. Each performance approaches space as a medium in itself, exploring public places, architecture, moments of connection and contemplation through the contemporary art forms. The project operates as a collective think tank in motion, grounded in a process-oriented approach that places a strong emphasis on collaboration. Each site-specific piece deeply engages with space, challenging structures and hierarchies and rethinking participation and belonging. At the heart of each audiovisual experience a dialogue emerges between body and sound, dance and space, performer and audience.

Performance 2024 Brandenburger Tor Berlin

The Art Of Play: concrete ballet_ explores the vibrant relationship between body, sound, and the magic of collective public spaces. Created for the UEFA European Football Championship in Berlin 2024, the piece celebrated movement and play while proposing sustainable, inclusive ways of sharing art in urban environments. Performed live in front of the Brandenburg Gate and broadcast throughout the Fanzone, it reached an audience of over 1,600 people.

Blending contemporary dance, live video, and sound performance, the work navigated the tension between stillness and motion, inviting intimacy within a large-scale public setting. It spotlighted subcultural dance traditions—bruk up ballet, hip hop, krumping, Latin ballroom—returning them to the street. Digitally manipulated audio and synthesizer textures shaped immersive soundscapes, culminating in a one-hour DJ set that transformed the space into a space of community and collective presence.

Performance 2023 Teufelsberg Berlin

ALMCHEMY PART I & II _ subversive tenderness is an interdisciplinary performance and poetic dialogue between art forms. It asks: What if the stage is an altar, and the performance an offering?

Created by a collective of diverse artists as part of Kultursommerfestival Berlin 2023, the piece shaped an ethereal audiovisual experience, weaving together sound, movement, and language. At its core is a conversation between spoken word and body—where poetry, dance, and sound meet to explore tenderness as a subversive force. The performance unfolds at the intersection of dance, theater, music, spoken word, and performance art. It brings visibility to marginalized perspectives, and explores themes of intersectionality, identity, queerness, and belonging—offering space for both vulnerability and resistance through embodied storytelling.
